BBC reporting it as a MD win, so nothing surprising there then.

The BBC will be wondering why Anne is playing her 2nd round match already

Still I believe Anne heading in the right direction, Lucic has been on fire this week.

Yes, Lucic allowed the no. 1 seed even less games (4) this morning! Anne has had two very good wins here, not bad prep for Wimbledon even if she didn't make the main draw.

Indeed as it's the first time that Anne has gone into Wimbledon with two wins over Tour level players in the grasscourt season. The only previous time she beat a top 75 player in these tournaments (Marrero, 2004) she went on to win a match at Wimbledon, so let's hope that's a good omen.

why haven't they put zvonareva vs watson on centre court? :O , surely people would rather watch that then... ivanovic vs goerges?!

That's an extremely good question !   Top seed and World No 3 vs GB No 2 and fast rising young player

and...

Yes, I would have thought so, whatever the glamour factor of the lower ranked player ( although improved again quite a bit in the last year )  in the Ivanovic vs Goerges match

Edit : actually when you look at Centre Court and Court 1 as a whole, there are a lot of attractive matches tomorrow, but I would still have had Zvonareva vs Watson on Centre.

Wasn't Heather not put on Centre court last year as well (when she played Azarenka)

To be fair she is at least in good company on court 1 with both French Open finalists, Bally and Ward, but it would definitely have been nice to see Heather on TV.
