The earliest I can recall any TV coverage and/or streaming in the past is on the Friday (Mel was covered when she made the quarters a few years ago) which coincides with the start of TennisTV and British Eurosport2 coverage, so don't expect anything before then
Twenty aces from Naomi, and only one break point faced in 15 service games. That's pretty impressive serving consistency.
Great to see. Clearly when Naomi she gets it right, she can get it very right as opposed to last week when she was reported to be having real serving problems.
Her first serve % was atrocious today, as she herself muttered, and that probably cost her dear. She tries to do both big & down the T/wide, when maybe just big and in the box would suffice!
Judging by her 1st serve % today, it seems she did the same thing but had better execution.
Lots of rain delays in Brum today. Matches scheduled to start at 11am on Courts 1, 2 and 3 are only just about through the first set.
I thought there hadn't been any play on Centre court but the match has just reappeared on livescore and Hantuchova is 5-0 up in the first set against Cirstea and is serving for the set.
Heather's match follows this one.

In the 2nd it was going with serve but Hev was broken to go down 2-3 and Doi held for 4-2. Heather then held her own serve (and nerve!!!) and has just broken Doi to level it at 4-4, and serving at *30-15.
There was controversy on the first of Heather's matchpoints when Heather thought a Doi shot was out and she had won, but she regained composure to take it at the 4th attempt.
Naomi 1-3*
