RE: ENTRIES WEEK 25 - 20/06/2011

Clement is probably worthy of a wild card. Maybe not a crowd puller but he is a fairly entertaining player. Certainly better than just giving it to another direct acceptance.

After speculating about what Fran's tweet meant yesterday, I was a bit worried when I saw her tweet today:

"For the guy on the GB tennis forum my 'great news' has nothing to do with WC play offs at all and for your information I do work very hard!!"

Ooer, what had I done this time?! Guilty of speculating, yes, but I was sure I hadn't said anything that could be taken to mean she didn't work hard ... and to my relief it turns out she was talking about someone on GBTG!

I thought it was a bit naughty of me to be relieved that someone else was in trouble for a change, but TBE had no such qualms, tweeting this message of support to her:

"you go girl !! But keep tweeting ;) forget the tosspots on that forum."

Coming from someone whose main forum is the female equivalent of MTF (and often even more inane than MTF), that takes some nerve! LOL

Ah well, live and let live, eh ... biggrin

I think what has become very clear recently is that a lot of players read tennis forums including this one.

Hope you all having a good day and all, you players out there  smile

Curiously, two qualifier places seem to have been reserved for Brits in the Pingguo Challenger main draw - see http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2011/6284/mds.pdf

It's just a pity there are no Brits actually there! LOL

Slightly odd that it is on the URL where the Guadalajara main draw should be too and the tournament was held in March. confuse

biggrin

No, qualifying hasn't finished there yet and we haven't got anyone playing in it anyway- just Jamie B in the main draw.
