L32: Nicola Slater WR 817 v (7) Jan Abaza (USA) WR 624

A bit of a nightmare draw for the only woman in the GB top 25 playing outside the UK this week. Abaza is only 16, so bound to be stronger than her ranking would suggest. She lost 1 & 1 to Heather Watson last November but beat Tara in 3 sets in April. She has lost her last 4 matches, but they have all been in 50Ks, 3 of them in main draws, and she beat Sema WR 172 in R1 of the first of them.
