QF:  Jamie Delgado & Edouard Roger-Vasselin (FRA) lost to (3) Dustin Brown & Martin Emmrich (GER/GER) by 6-7(2) 3-6 cry

Not too bad a performance for a scratch pairing against the third seeds, I suppose.

And here's a turn-up for the books:

QF:  (WC) Dan Cox & James Ward defeated (2) Carsten Ball (AUS) & Ken Skupski by 3 & 5!  biggrin  bleh

Some consolation for James, I suppose. wink

SF:  (1) Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins vs Michail Elgin & Alexander Kudryavtsev (RUS/RUS)

SF:  (3) Dustin Brown & Martin Emmrich (GER/GER) vs (WC) Dan Cox & James Ward

I seem to recall that Col & Ross have some "previous" with their Russian opponents...  fingers crossed for both our pairs. pray.gif

The third seeds were too strong for Dan & Dino, who lost by 4 & 2. cry  Still, they have bagged 35 points apiece & 1,380 between them. smile  Up to Col & Ross now...

We finally have a winner today, Col & Ross, by 3 & 5. smile   Had to wait until I got home to find out, as the bloody live scoreboard froze again 18 minutes after the match started!

Final: (1) Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins WR 155 vs (3) Dustin Brown & Martin Emmrich (GER/GER) WR 168

Is that really you SC, or is someone else using your login ID. That's 2 typos in 2 days from you. Normally that's to be expected from us, but that's twice your annual quota.

Must be all the excitement at RG!

How embarrassing! ashamed  Definitely me & definitely NOT the excitement at Roland-Garros.  More the fact that I'm human & not perfect, so inevitably prone to the occasional typo that I fail to pick up before I make a post.  That said, I'd contend that my reference to "Col & Ken" (now corrected) was more the result of force of habit (even after almost a year) or a Freudian slip/wishful thinking than an actual typo.  Added to that is the fact that my spending so much time at work on a PC & at home on the Internet typing rather than writing things seems to have made me semi-dyslexic:  I'm forever reversing letters in the middle of words or even including superfluous letters these days, but usually spot them in time to prevent the next "egg-on-face" moment! wink
