If we assume Fleming, Skupski and Murray will find Partners to not need WC's. In fact looking at Twitter Hutchins is hopeful of breing with Colin then we still have the 4 spots.
Delgado/Marray must be in there Eaton/?? - What happened to BBD? Thornley/Rice - Given the year they have had
Doubles also subject to the 250 ( or in this case 500 ) target for all home pairings. To quote :
"Doubles main draw recommendations will need to have a combined ranking of 500 or better to be considered."
Re Rice & Thornley :
Thornley : Started the year ranked 494, 23/05 rankings 293, approximate ranking now ( based on the current ranking table ) with the title last week and final this week added : WR 264 on 248 points
Rice : Started the year, ranked 557, 23/05 ranking 308, approximate ranking now WR 276 on 236 points.
On the current ranking table the target would be to get to bout WR 245 and 255 on 270 and 257 points respectively.
That would mean they are each currently 21 / 22 points short.
If they are entered for Nottingham that would mean them having to get to the semi finals this comiing week. A real challenge, but not impossible.
Would be such a pity to have come with such a sprint in the last few months if they were to end up just short of a main draw WC. I know there is qualifying for doubles at Wimbledon, so I guess some chance there,
I know some would say they should still get one, and I wouldn't be adverse. A problem I have with the LTA re WCs is making such definitive statements re the WR 250 & combined 500 targets with supposedly only young players as others who could be exceptions. I must admit I have more than once changed my mind whether setting such definitive targets is good or not.

The strict top 250 criteria is really stupid. If some starts the season at say 700 and by June is around 300-350 then they should be rewarded for that improvement.
I don't know how reliable this is but some journalist called Derek Bish has tweeted "10 singles Wimbledon wildcards announced so far - eight to Brits. What happened to making our players earn their place? #easyride".
