RE: Week 20 - Roland Garros women's qualifying 2011

Reassuringly comfortable win for Heather, and a sign that she is in good enough form to qualify

Very impressive given that Olaru is a former junior finalist here!

They don't have the full stats for that court Maddy , so only double faults count as unforced errors. Still having 0 double faults is a decent achievement in itself.

It will be Peers in the next round, and in normal circumstances Hev would be a class above Peers. However Peers best results have been at grand slams, so it maybe a bit more tricky than first impressions.

I was looking at the slam tracker, it said 0 aces, 0 double faults, 2 winners, 0 unforced errors shrug.gif

It was working all through the match. Seems a bit pointless showing both double faults and unforced errors if they are the same thing.

They tend to do that during slam qualifying though. I think aces/ues get picked up from the umpire's gizmo and the winners/ue counts only work properly in the main draw when stat collectors are on duty.

Heather plays 3rd on court 14. She is closing on an Anne for the #2 spot.

Already looking like a much tougher match than yesterday's - I suppose three easy wins was too much to ask for.

Heather looks to be finally finding her groove, interesting serving stats suggest she's not hitting her first serve at full belt.
