Excellent and apologies, if I'd known that yesterday, I'd have credited you for the Brasher stat when I tweeted it. I didn't even realise you could get qualifying results on Wikipedia, I must admit - I always guess at someone who might have played in the main draw each year and access the qualifying results on ITF through that.

I had checked all the slams back to 1992 in 2009, when we first started getting multiple GB women in slam main draws as well and I checked (or re-checked, because I did seem to remember seeing the results before) RG qualifying from 1983-1991 on ITF yesterday, so it seems we managed to get our double check after all.

All of which is good, because the info has been used a fair bit by the journos this morning, though of course they might have got it from a different source.
