Decent looking draw for Naomi here.  She probably needs a semi final place here to get into the top 250 for the 06/06 rankings, although she may have one more chance for points if she can at least get into qualifying for the Nottingham 75K in the previous week.

Not the best doubles draw: Whybourn / Broady v Moore / Farhad (AZE) with the top seeds probably awaiting the winner.

These opportunities don't come along very often, with the number 1 seed being ranked outside the top 250, time to make hay.
Hopefully Lisa's injury will hold up.

Where did you get that result from? According to ITF, those were the correct set scores but Naomi won the 3rd, i.e. she won 6-7(1) 6-4 7-6(4) - hope that's right smile.gif

 Well, there's usually 4 weeks a year.

Phew. When I checked that was the result from the ITF site. I just copied and pasted it directly.

I like being wrong when it turns out like this.

Well, the no. 2 seed dodged a bullet yesterday, but sadly the no. 3 seed didn't - Lisa lost 5 & 0 to Buzarnescu cry.gif
