Good win from Dan Cox, to be honest I would have expected the opposite results from the two Dan's! Fingers crossed for his R16 match and excellent start here by Bloomers as well!

First set 6-2 and probably the most impressive set since Newport last year!

I think it's fair to say that Richard 'has his eye in' for this court as he serves for the match 6-2 *5-2

Wow explosive stuff from Richie! Although it's not surprising according to ATP scoreboard Middlekoop is 0'0 high! How on earth can hold onto the racket let alone hold serve?! ;)

Neither Cox or Bloomers on court Wednesday

Richard's next opponent unsurprisingly is Schuettler

Thursday 19th May
Round 2
Central court

Cox vs Ebden 11.00 (10.00 BST)

Bloomfield vs Schuettler NB 17.00 (16.00BST)

No 1 seed Kunitsyn progressed today by the retirement of Dan Evans' victor G Menga 7-6 3-0.

I wonder why the Ratiwatana twins were on opposing sides in the doubles?
