This is 16yo Particelli's first senior (Challengers or Futures) match. He has played three ITF junior matches, beating an unranked Italian in 3 sets but getting fed double bakery at the hands of two players with junior rankings around 200.

The main threat to qualification (and joining Cox & Evo in the main draw) is (q6) Andrea Stoppini WR 404 (CH 161 in 2009), against whom he has a 3-0 record, all on indoor hard at Challengers in the UK in 2005/7/8.

Overall pretty good 1st round draws for our guys, Struff like Cox gets the majority of his points from Futures so that contest should be evenly matched. Evo's opponent is 34 years old who's career high was 432 back in 2006. Not sure why he's got a WC here too be honest.

If both the guys win Evo has potentially 1st seed Kunitysn, whilst Cox has 4th seed Ebden! Here's hoping for a good week
