Play in Jo's match was suspended with Jo 6-2 3-0 up smile.gif

Rybarikova is WR 72 (CH 40 in 2009) and she beat Bally 5 & 3 on clay in Fed Cup 5 years ago, their only previous meeting.

Rybarikova is in very good form and tomorrow will try to do what Bally and Anne couldn't - beat Petra Kvitova (Prague final)

Jo resumes at 9am BST and if successful takes on Stephanie Foretz-Gacon in the fourth match on Centre (following Brodsky-Mladenovic)

Well, even if you've never heard of it, surely it's not that hard to work out.
Taking someone to school means teaching them a lesson.
Thus, "schooled".
lol.

Indeed  smile    To quote my link :  "Etymology: someone that was "schooled" has been "taken to school." That is, taught how to do something. And then they are badly beaten in the process."

Anyway, I really quite fail to see why it is an "abomination".
