I reckon that at 5-1 down Ivo just started swinging and got into a hitting range. With all the pressure on Andy, Ivo started giving him a really tough match. Great to see Andy pull-through. Must have been really tough serving at 5-4 1st set and having to maintain the break in the 2nd.
Hopefully it will be Madeleine. I'll be out this evening but will post the Order of Play for tomorrow when I get back unless someone has already posted it here.
Malisse's match is on next. Should be interesting to see how well he's playing. He seemed to struggle in the 1st set of his rd1 match against a Belgian wildcard getting taken to a tiebreak though he cruised the next set 6-1.
I reckon Carraz should be tougher. He has a bigger serve than Heuberger and a better baseline game. He beat Rusedski at the US Open a few year's back. Andy lost his cool against Carraz big time at Granby as he was struggling with his returning. Carraz has a leftie serve so the different spins are always difficult to get used to.
Oops mistake made. Carraz is actually a right-hander but still has a big serve. I'm sure I read somewhere that he was a leftie ?? Anyway he reached no 54 in the world but since July he has won 1 out of 7 matches. So maybe not such a tough match after all.
Looking at his results, he's had a pretty bad year apart from Granby. Qualified for Indian Wells and won a round and qualified for Queen's beating Novak Djokovic on the way. Apart from that it's mostly 1st round losses.
