Yeah I noticed that too. That's weird, wonder what they'll do, either move JB to the main draw and make his opponent have a w/o. Or create a lucky loser place meaning 5 qualifiers.

"Showed up for quals this morning to find out I got bumped into main draw. Challenge now is to set up practice for the weekend"

Not worked out at all well for Baker. Not only has he missed out on a probable 5 points for getting through qualifying, he is faced with this draw:
R32: Jamie Baker WR 365 v (2) Go Soeda (JPN) WR 117
H2H is 0-3 and they played most recently in Pingguo this year with Soeda coming through 6-3, 7-6(6). The one positive thing is that all 3 meetings have been relatively close...
On the plus side, if he gets through that then he's got WC or Q
Just might add to his annoyance if he loses to Soeda
Plus he could have got some qualifying matches to bed himself in, won the qualifier points, been the qualifier who drew the WC, won the points for winning R1, and THEN played Soeda.
Bakes *3-5, 30-40 down and play stopped for the day, Just to put things into perspective the qualifier in Jamie's section of the qualifying draw got the WC so could potentially face Soeda or Baker next round, Sod's law really. However must be noted there was no guarantee of Jamie qualifying had he been in there.
