2-1 to Robson on serve. Both girls serving well and both like having a big swing on the returns so not many long points

Bit concerned with the bandage on Laura's thigh. Still some concern there according to the commentator. But she is playing GREAT smile.gif

"Robson looks like she's just toying with her" the commentator says. smile.gif 5-2*

Says he's talked to her coach too, who says she's a joy to work with, still prone to lapses in matches but he (coach) thinks that's just her age.

The (francophone) commentator is pleased to see Laura following in shots to the net - though he thinks that's the French influence!

I got the impression he thought it was just a precaution, because that's where the problem had been, rather than a particular concern.

Robson takes the first set 6-3.

She is playing OK, far too many return errors cancelling out Naydenova's double faults.

On the plus side, when she gets the first serve in she has won pretty much every point so no trouble on serve so far.

Two breaks for Robbo either side of a hold from 0-40 and it's 3-0.

Oops, out of the blue Naydenova has got one of the breaks back.

6-3 3-1*

Her opponent got given a thousands dollars for something, couldn't quite catch what it was.

She seemed mightly pleased with herself though, so that's good.
