Interesting 2nd set all round. 10 breaks of service in it. Return points beat service points 60 - 33 ! Camerin was serving first so Heather must have served for the match at least once, though you probably wanted to return for the match !!
By the way, the tie break tie break score shows as 8 - 6.
Similar in a way to the McHale loss, but still it appears to me that Heather has learnt very quickly how to be effective on the red clay. Qualification for the French Open main draw through the qualies now looks much more like a realistic possibility.
Whahey !! Well done Bally. It'd be nice to know what happened at the end of the first set.
Yes, it would. Possibly the TF poster got the score the wrong way round or I misinterpreted it (they said "Barrois 3-5"), but whoever was 5-3 up must have dropped at least the next two games for it to have ended 7-5.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Today's win takes Bally to the top of the list of GB scorers of WTA ranking points since the start of 2011. 6 Brits are in triple figures:
350 Bally 342 Anne K 307 Hev 141 Emily (currently GB no 7, up to GB no 6 next Monday) 114 Naomi B (currently GB no 9) 100 Katie (currently GB no 4)
Tremendous ( and really unexpected on the surface ! ) from Bally, though her form really hasn't been at all bad all year. She is significantly underranked on her displays this year.
Last year we also had 6 on triple figure ranking points by the end of this current week :
633 : Bally
328 : Anne K
176 : Katie
126 : Cav
105 : Laura
105 : Anna S
So, yes 6 again, but 2 of these from last year have not played this year due at least initially to injury ( Cav and Anna S ) and of course Laura is only playing her 4th ranking tournament. Heather, Emily and Naomi B have come through to replace them
As I have been saying even before this week, which has certainly been a pretty good week all round, when I look at the various stats I don't see much wrong at all with British women's tennis comparative to other years and it is still in a much more healthy state than the men.
Yes, one would wish some players in better form, but was always thus. Still plenty good things have been happening.
