The EWS march continues though. And that's 5 of her 6 wins in the last 2 weeks being won in the third set with reasonably comfortable looking scores in these final sets. Looks as if good fitness there, good attitude
Sensational! She might just get into Wimby! That would be absolutely brilliant, proof that she has the potential to go high and why you should never say never!
Sorry to answer my own post, dashed poor form I know, but I had another look at the pic ...
The grip is so extreme that a "normal" semi-western grip player would actually hit the ball on the other side of the racquet, if you see what I mean.
Highly bizarre. No wonder she likes grass and carpet, but fair play to her ...
I thought that too, but looking at the super slow mo of her forehand on google videos, I think it's just the takeback that's a little odd, she swings the racket head back round as she comes through to hit the ball.
Oh, almost a shock when Emily loses at the moment.
But with all the matches she's played recently one can understand them having some effect and that's's still a decent looking effort and just not giving up again.
Anyway, I'll head back to watching the astonishing goings on in the elections in SNP land
Wonder if Andy will play Davis Cup for Scotland after independance ?
