Just to add a bit to Peter's post, Katie is seeded 8 and has a 1-1 H2H against Lee, who is now ranked 288 (CH 178 in 2008) - both previous meetings were in 25Ks in Australia in 2007, both straight sets wins, with Katie winning the first and Lee the second.
Emily beat her opponent (now ranked 250) 3 &1 in Sydney in January.

Katie's tweet 'Today's match started with 7 breaks of serve. I'd like to think it was due to the quality of returning but it really wasn't. Anyhow, I won!'
As well as almost certainly taking out her 6 year old career high (which will mean she and Samantha Murray take out the two oldest career highs among currently ranked GB women simultaneously), as SMC says, that win puts Emily up to provisional GB no. 5 ahead of Cav and Laura, though obviously Laura can retake her by winning today - barring a very deep run by Mel, whoever goes furthest out of Emily and Laura will join the GB top 5 on Monday.
Katie has a 2-0 H2H against Takao (who had a career high of 128 in 2006), both 3-setters, the most recent in Sydney earlier this year.
