Luke Bambridge moves over from France to join Evan Hoyt, along with Jonathan Cornish, in a strong Grade 2. To win any points they will need to defeat one of the seeds, all of which are top 100. Evan lost in qualifying, but gets in as a Lucky Loser to face a rematch with last week's nemesis.
The girls event is also stronger than last week, and Eleanor Dean will do well to make the quarters here.
Boys R1 (L64)
(SE) Amerigo Contini (ITA) v (Q) Jonathan Cornish (GBR)
(WC) Martin Blasko (SVK) v Luke Bambridge (GBR)
(WC) Federico Maccari (ITA) v (LL) Evan Hoyt (GBR)
Very impressive, especially by Evan, whose only previous win against a player of this level (just inside top 100) was against Barrere in the Junior Davis Cup finals. Luke knows his next opponent well - Jaloviec winning their last encounter on clay, but Luke equalising in the Junior Davis Cup on hard courts.
Boys R3
Luke Bambridge (GBR) v (8) Marek Jaloviec (CZE) (LL) Evan Hoyt (GBR) v (2) Lukas Vrnak (CZE)
Luke claims another top 100 scalp. The Italian who unceremoniously dealt with Jonathan in round 1 before disposing of the third seed, now stands between Luke and a return to the top 100 plus virtually guaranteed place in the Roland Garros qualies.
Eleanor came closer than last week against a top 50 opponent, and has reached the doubles semis

Girls R2
(4) Viktoriya Tomova (BUL) d. Eleanor Dean (GBR) 2-6 6-2 6-2
Unfortunately Luke couldn't manage the crucial victory, so his chances of making the French Open qualies will rely on a larger number of withdrawals than normal.
Eleanor and partner are through to the doubles final - opposition not yet known
