Darn, Liam had a set point in the tiebreak there at 6 - 5 on his own serve but then lost both service points.
All been very close. Although Liam was twice a break ahead, he was immediately broken back both times, the second time when serving for the set, and generally he has had just a bit more pressure put on his serve than vice versa.
Hopefully he'll just keep playing his game and still give himself a chance.

QF: Alex Slabinsky WR 524 beat (5) Michal Schmid (CZE) WR 457 7 - 6 (6) 6 - 1
SF: Alex Slabinsky WR 524 vs (Q) Enrico Burzi ( ITA) WR 740
Burzi who beat Dan Smethurst in R1 has since fairly comfortably beaten the no 3 and 7 seeds. He also had some pretty decent wins in the Napoli Challenger last week.

Burzi also beat Slabba the only other time they played, at Udine back in 2006. He hit a career high of 269 in 2008.
