R1: Daniel Cox & Roman Borvanov (MDA) beat Julio Cesar Campozano (ECU) & Daniel Dutra Da Sliva (BRA) by walkover R1: (2) Andre Begemann (GER) & Chris Eaton beat Victor Estrella (DOM) & Fernando Romboli (BRA) 6-3 6-4
QF: (2) Andre Begemann (GER) & Chris Eaton v Daniel Cox & Roman Borvanov (MDA)
L32: (Q) Chris Eaton WR 453 lost to (4) Rajeev Ram (USA) WR 241 by 5 & 4 L32: (Q) Jamie Baker WR 392 beat Marcel Felder (URU) WR 432 by 2 & 4 L32: Dan Cox WR 282 beat Julio Cesar Campozano (ECU) WR 380 by 3-6 5-3 ret.
Judging by Jamie's pre- and post-match tweets, there is a bit of needle between him and Felder ...
L16: (Q) Jamie Baker WR 392 v (5) Victor Estrella (DOM) WR 225 L16: Dan Cox WR 282 v Vasek Pospisil (CAN) WR 289
Estrella beat Wardy in R1 in Sarasota last year but oddly lost to Miles Bugby in Cuba a few months ago. As Salmon mentioned above, Pospisil thrashed the no. 8 seed 2 & 0 in R1, so is in very good form.

Jamie's first Challenger QF since November 2007 and has had 31 challenger attempts since to make another QF! Kinda typcal that he reaches it when his ranking has been the lowest it has been in recent times compared to last year but really good result!

That is really good news - it's been way too long since he won back to back Challenger main draw matches, as TMS says - Knoxville in Nov 2007 it was, where he beat Tecau and Bozo, then DeHeart in the QFs before losing to Kendrick in the SFs. Funnily enough, all of his QFs except the first have been in the Americas and he has an 80% record in Challenger QFs:
06/2006 - Tasmania - QF - lost to Healey (opponents listed are from the QFs onwards) 01/2007 - Waikoloa - Q + RU - beat Stakh & Odesnik, lost to Russell 02/2007 - Joplin - SF - beat Ram, lost to Russell 07/2007 - Lexington - Q + SF - beat Yani, lost to Wilson 11/2007 - Knoxville - SF - beat DeHeart, lost to Kendrick 04/2011 - Leon - Q + ? - ...
In fact, his record in Challengers couldn't be more different to that of the player he is now just one ranking point behind (Boggo) if he tried - Alex is over 50% in every round except QFs and Jamie is under 50% in every round except QFs.

QF: (Q) Jamie Baker WR 392 v Roman Borvanov (MDA) WR 335
Borvanov is ranked just below the career high he reached last month, a month in which he lost 3 & 2 to Boggo in Oklahoma City. In fact, he has lost three in a row to Brits (Marray and Wardy the other two) since beating Jonathan Kinsella in Mexico in 2008. The Moldovan beat the top seed on Thursda, but it has taken him two long 3-setters to get here, so with luck he'll be a bit tired!
