Boys: AEGON Junior International Nottingham (week 2) - Grade 4 (Week 15)

Although Toby Martin and Evan Hoyt are top-seeded for the second week here (draw below), expect strong competition from the non-Brits, especially De Vroome, Completo and last year's Les Petits As winner Halys. Josh Sapwell opens against a familiar opponent, Belgian Clement Geens having beaten him at the Eddie Herr last year.

First round completed with good wins over seeds for Samuel Williams (over Completo), Peter Ashley and Jordan Parker, but Josh lost out again to Geens (thus clarifying an ambiguity in my previous post - Geens won the Eddie Herr contest as well)

Billy Harris and Jordan Angus continue their good form from last week, joining David Fox in knocking out top seeds, but disappointingly Peter Ashley was unable to capitalise on his first-round win. All second round results are on the above link.

Evan Hoyt continues to make easy progress, but Jordan Angus just failed to upset the fancied Quentin Halys

(14) Quentin Halys (FRA) v (6) Clay Crawford
David Fox v (13) Max De Vroome (NED)
Billy Harris v (2) Evan Hoyt

No shocks today setting up a couple of intriguing semis between our top 2 seeds and the pick of the non-Brits. Halys is 21-1 this year, so would be a good scalp for Toby, who has been the most clinical so far this week.

QF

(1) Toby Martin d. (Q) Henrique Sousa (POR) 6-4 6-3
(14) Quentin Halys (FRA) d. (6) Clay Crawford 7-5 6-1
(13) Max De Vroome (NED) d. David Fox 7-6 (4) 7-6(2)
(2) Evan Hoyt d. Billy Harris 7-6(8) 6-0

SF

(1) Toby Martin v (14) Quentin Halys (FRA)
(13) Max De Vroome (NED) v (2) Evan Hoyt
