Hope the guys don't slip on banana skins here.

You also have to feel sorry for the umpires - My personal favourite is KORKIATTHAWORN, Warut v WACHIRAMANOWONG, Kittiphong

(last week) ITFProCircuit: THA F3 clashes with #Songkran Festival. Be warned it can get messy, people will be throwing water & powder on passers-by!

(today) AlexWard1990: "Can't believe this town. If elephants and hookers on every corner wasn't enough, we now have a week of a permanent water fighting. Too good!"

(from last year) More on what they're in for: http://www.thailand-travelonline.com/thailand-activities/culture-of-thailand/thailand-songkran-festival-2010-worlds-biggest-water-fight-part-2/835/

Something tells me the elephants' trunks probably get used as super-powered water pistols too! evileye

That ends a 7-match losing streak - and even today he had problems in the 1st set. Hopefully the way he turned it around in the 2nd and 3rd has given him some confidence back because he should be looking to go very deep here.

L16: (1) Josh Milton WR 370 v Takuto Niki (JPN) WR 792
L16: (4) Alex Ward WR 499 v Christopher Rungkat (INA) WR 616

Both play early tomorrow morning.

sounds like another long match from Alex's twitter. From the light-hearted tone I'd infer that he won, but can't say for certain.

It looks like the Thais are taking lessons from the Brits in being 'good hosts' - i.e. they've got 3 out of 4 players in the doubles Final but they've left the singles semis to the 'guests'.
