Hmmm, Mircic has beaten George, Vickers, Ren & Walker but lost to Fitzy in the past few months, so shouldn't prove too tricky for Anne.

A win is a win for Anne and nice to see her take it in the deciding set, but still a long way off her best level. Should reach the quarters as Mircic is no better than Asia.

Yes, at least Anne got the win and hopefully can build on it.

Somehow or other ( well the Aussie Open has quite a lot to do with it ) Anne has now won more ranking points this year then any of the other Brits including Bally and Heather.

That's a very nice win for Lisa and certainly emphatic in the 2nd set. That win by itself should take her up to around her career high of WR 284.

Lisa's opponent hasn't played for 6 weeks so I am hesitant to say that she has refound her mojo, but the signs are very encouraging.
