When do we find out her first round opponents? I looked at the options and thought mchale (?) Was possibly the best?

To me, it looks like Alison Riske is the choice spot as it also has the easiest potential R2 matchup against Vera Dushineva WR52.

McHale isn't too bad an option either, with Kleybanova WR28 in R2 or Melina Czynk with Goerges WR 35 in R2.

Also, Melinda Riske ( edit :  or even Czink ! ) of Hungary who missed the second half of last year through injury and is thus playing on a special ranking and has also not done much this year I'd say would be a pretty good first round opponent to get.  Winner would play Goerges (12) or Govortsova which isn't too bad.

I also want heather to draw Melinda Riske--should be easy, seeing as she doesn't exist.biggrin

Congratulations to Heather for qualifying, would have been a major disappointment if she hadn't, but its all about winning and that second set fightback was impressive when it looked for all money it was going to a third.
I see she is heading back to the NTC for a mini fitness block once this week is over and so would seemingly be playing a couple of lead up tournaments to the French Open on the red clay when she returns to action.

She got McHale - 2nd on Althea Gibson, the same court she played both qualifying matches on, after a 10am start.
