This is going to be tough to qualify from - I don't think I've ever seen a 10K Futures qualifying draw with more than 50 world ranked players in it before! All of the 16 qualifying seeds are ranked in the top 950.

Morgan beat Ortega-Olmedo 3-6 6-3 6-1 on his way to a Futures title in the same city last September.

(*) Wonder if that walkover was "diplomatic", given that both Morgan & Matteo are still in the singles.  Hope so, anyway.  That said, the Spanish top seeds, Agustín Boje & Pablo Martín, also had a walkover in their QF & then proceeded to give one to Alcaide & Nesterov in the SF! confuse  Slabba & Rochette are doing all the hard work! disbelief

Daniel's had 2 retirements in the L16 (was 2-6 2-0) and the QF (was 3-0) so hard to tell how good his form is.

Yes, JL,  indeed it was.  Must've got carried away in the excitement & confused him with Morgan's doubles partner & compatriot! ashamed  Reassuring comment on Daniel, though. smile  Still keeping my fingers firmly crossed... wink
