Unfortunately re the "upping" of defeats to Sirotkina and Feuerstein, Feuerstien then lost in the semis to qualifier Domachowska who then lost in the final to no 8 seed Voegele

Think to an extent it's more as Steven considered that there is an element of randomness to the results, or at least players playing at different levels from day to day. I'd say the main thing is for the players themselves to perform on the day, i.e. look after their own end, whoever they are playing.
