Ah, that all makes sense. I think even tennis players should be allowed the odd night off as long as they don't go too crazy, it's all a question of degree, and I'm glad Evo (with a singles match today) proved the cynics wrong, as it were.
It must have been great fun to be there yesterday, with four of the GB men upending seeds and the other two putting up decent fights by the looks of the scorelines. Weird that the seeds were falling in the women's event too, and that certainly wasn't good for us apart from Lucy's win.
Both of the all-GB QFs are intriguing. I hope Boggo's back has settled down since yesterday so that he can give Dan a proper match this time.

That would be sensible. I'm also hoping that regardless of today Boggo gets one, mainly due to the DC thing. he missed tour events for that only to waste his time bench warming so it's only fair they make some amends.

How do these betting sites work? do they get scores from someone sitting in the crowd updating? do enough people bet on futures tennis to justify the cost of paying someone to do that?

Bit disappointed for Dan there, getting broken 3 times. i know the indoor courts are more suited to Chris's game but we know Dan is capable, the bagel he handed to boggo earlier this year is testament to that.
