Ha Ha, ( insert list of famous Slovaks dead or alive ), can you hear me ? can you hear me ? your boys took a hell of a beating !
Once I get past Alexander Dubcek, the next most famous Slovaks I can think of are Dominik Hrbaty and Daniela Hantuchova! Unless you count Paul Newman and Andy Warhol, who I think were of Slovak descent.

Also Spud, on the Draw sheets for futures they give the rankings too, which makes it a bit easier than the challengers ones.
Cheers, yeh the drawsheets are better in that way than on the itf site as well, although on there your one click away from profile, head to head of next match etc.
QF: Daniel SMETHURST (GBR) WR 450 Vs Chris EATON (GBR) WR 572
QF: Alex BOGDANOVIC (GBR) WR 372 Vs Daniel EVANS (GBR) WR 400
Two very intriguing match ups right there!
Dan and Chris have never played each other before and it will be a contrast in styles.
Dan leads Boggo 1-0 after that close one back in Jersey in 09, I would hope both players are more mentally tough going into tommorow than back then, so will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Spud, you'll be pleased to know that Chris looked very good today. His serve was working really well and he hit several really good volleys, and was keen to get to the net whenever possible.
Does make you wonder why he's ranked in the 500s though!

Cheers SMC. Great to hear he is serving well because its a huge loss to his game if it isnt obviously. Yeh some of his volleys can be out of this world sometimes, the way he can just blanket the net and show ridiculous feel on the drop volley especially!
Yeh, i think we all know its just that consistency in his game and how the slower courts can just ruin it for him unfortunately. I think this is why we see some results that are real shockers but then see several really good wins like in Germany a couple of weeks back and this week so far.
If he could find the consistency then you'd think he could push around top 300, 250 maybe, but until then we will have to enjoy the highs and not worry so much about the lows.
Sorry about that! I was/am much more drunk than they all were. Spoke a little bit to Goodall and Willis at the end of the night, both were relatively pleased with their singles performance; stating they couldn't have done any more. Josh said he was still in doubles and planned to win tomorrow although not too sure if going out until 2am the night before is good practice! Steph Cornish and Lisa Whybourn were out as well although they don't have any matches tomorrow so I guess we can let them off. I did promise Josh and Marcus I would write a good report about them (sounded as though they checked out the forum regularly enough) but unfortunately I didn't see enough of their matches today to comment on how they played.
Also I'm definitely not turning into Vandenburg, I was actually at the same spot as all the players so no speculation on my part! The guys were impressed though that I managed to guess Matt Illingworth had the nickname Doug.
Not sure if I'll be able to make it there too much tomorrow. Should be OK from 11-12 and 1-2 then good after 3pm. Thursday and Friday are my busiest days of the week so won't be able to watch as much tennis as before.
Sorry if not much of this made any sense; hopefully you understood what I meant. Mostly despite speculation to the contrary the only one of the 1989-90 Brits who had a night out tonight was Willis and he seemed relatively sober at the end of the night. No sign of the "expected offenders", i.e Evo and Broady according to previous LTA sanctions.
