We've finally got a result: Angelique KERBER (GER) (5) defeated Anne KEOTHAVONG (GBR) 7-5 6-3

Not a bad scoreline given that we already knew she'd lost.

And Kerbers just thrashed (well not exactly 6-4 7-5) Pinronkova (Wimbledon semifinalist)
so no light weight there.

Hev on in about 40 mins ( but sadly I have to be up early so am not intending to stay up, unless insomnia gets the better of me biggrin)  Hopefully there will be plenty to read here and good news in the morning  smilesmilesmile

She's done enough this week to convince me to stay up for the first set at least, but I'm hoping for a Brianti style destruction so that I can get a bit of sleep!

This has pretty much been one way traffic so far sadly.
Marino has been prone to second set dips but will have to dip dramatically for Heather to turn this around. Heather we know is a great fighter but she simply appears to be outclassed at the moment.
