Would it not seem strange playing indoors during the summer? Agreed the atmosphere is great indoors but my bet would be it'll played on an outside grass court somewhere.
So would mine, but I don't see why it has to be. I guess it could get oppressively hot indoors in July, but equally it could rain all weekend outdoors!

OEM is saying that (the much-hyped) plans to hold the next DC tie in Stirling have had to be shelved because the roof does not have the required 9m clearance at the ends of the net - see http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/sport/tennis/article2944929.ece if you have access.
"There is a distinct sense of disappointment in Scotland Andy Murray had let it be known that he wanted the tie staged there but a realisation, too, that for all the progress made in the game, only two indoor courts have been built in the country in the five years that Murray has been a top-ten player."
He goes on to say that the tie is now likely to be played at Wimbledon or Eastbourne.

The second round Davis Cup tie venues have been announced, no news yet for GB vs Lux - although there is a deadline for the 25th March so should find out then(?), presume the LTA are still negotiating a venue.
I can't imagine they'd need to take this long if they were definitely going to play it at Eastbourne, so maybe this suggests they are looking at other options after all.
