Week 10 - Futures F3 ($15k) - Tipton, Great Britain

Qualifying draw - http://www.lta.org.uk/NewWebsite/LTA/Documents/Fans%20News%20and%20Major%20Events/Results/2011/AEGON%20Pro-Series/Tipton%20MAR/Menssinglesqualifying.pdf

Main draw - Milton, Bloomfield, Evans, Goodall, Smethurst, Ward, Slabinsky, Eaton, Willis, Morgan (WC).

The only other ranked Brit on the entry list not in the qualifying draw is Hewitt. That leaves me thinking wild cards could have gone to Bogdanovic and Baker. But that's probably me dreaming.

Golding's been muttering on twitter about going to Zurich with Liam Broady, but I haven't worked out what for yet.

The only thing I can see that's on in Zurich next week is a Champions Tour event - at the wrong end of the age range!

He was playing in the Junior county cup this weekend and it would be very strange for him to come back from the US then leave again before the important tournaments started.

Turns out he is at the Champions Tour event:

Maybe he decided to cut out the middle-man (i.e. the 10-15 year slog on the proper tour) LOL

I asked Oli what he was up to and he was good enough to reply, saying there's a junior comp there as well and they are playing alongside the old boys in doubles too.

Finally unearthed a link http://bit.ly/e7Yb3x and it turns out Oli is playing doubles with Pete Sampras, Liam Broady with Tim Henman and Josh Sapwell with Thomas Muster! smile.gif

 * thread set up for this in the junior section *
