RE: Week 10 Futures - USA F7 ($15k) - McAllen, TX (Hard)

That's an understatement, I fear - Odesnik (former world no 77 and a 'ringer' at Futures level, obviously) has won 18/21 matches since coming back at the start of this year following his ban, including 15 of his last 16, 14 of them in straight sets.

Ah well, even if Dan loses,  his relentless rankings rise continues with another 8 points, which in itself should lift him to about the low 280s when the next rankings list comes out on 21/03

And he now has has only 5 points in total to defend until his Frinton title points from last year come off on 25/07.

Hasn't generally looked as if he's been in as good form this year as in the second half of last year, though that's a nice decisive win today. But still seems to be heading for the top 250  ( points in running now = 163, current WR 250 = 190 points ).

Good to see Coxy play some Futures. I hope he'll play more Futures in the future because he needs to prove that he can win Futures.

I thought this was someone being serious for a moment and was about to argue the opposite, then I saw who wrote it biggrin

I'm starting a campaign to break up this arguement, remove the offending e and put things back together. Argument settled!

Wow, you can still learn something every day, even if here I have just noticed this belatedly.

That said,  http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1832104,00.html   wink

Admittedly, it is an American article.
