Welcome to this forum, Arbrit.

However, before I read further may I be the first to raise a rather important issue re the first line :

"World ranked No. 5 Andy Murray is a household name for tennis lovers. The Scottish tennis player is trying to break England's 75-year drought of a major tennis title."

Andy is from Scotland.  He is NOT from England, which is a separate part of Great Britain.  "England" should read either ( Great ) Britain or the United Kingdom.

For info :  http://www.ecenglish.com/learnenglish/lessons/what-difference-between-united-kingdom-great-britain-and-england

I myself am like Andy :  Scottish and British, but not English  ( England being a part of Great Britain I was neither born in or live in )

Anyway, I will now read on....smile

Cheers for that.

Interesting read.  I must admit I knew nothing about Scott.  It will be interesting to see how he progresses in time.

I see that I wasn't the "first" to give you grief re Scotland and England as I saw the comment at the bottom of the piece  smile

I vaguely remember Scott Sears playing in Nottingham qualies or something similar last year - I think he beat someone like Arlidge, so looks like he might have some pedigree.

I just had a look at his activity on the ATP site.  Pretty well remembered  smile

He beat Pauffley in qualifying at last year's Nottingham Challenger  6 - 3   6 - 3  before losing to Tomic  6 - 0  6 - 2.  Also lost to Gimeno-Traver in qualifying for the Eastbourne ATP  6 - 3  6 - 1.
