Josh takes it 5-7 6-3 6-3. smile

Given his recent form, that's a good result for him.

Yeh very good result for Josh and especially from a set down with some of his recent form showing good mental attitude!

Yes, very encouraging - when I saw he'd lost the 1st set, I didn't expect him to come back given his recent form, so it was great to be proved wrong.

L16: Chris Eaton WR 639 v (6) Ervin Eleskovic (SWE) WR 414
L16: (5) Josh Goodall WR 422 v Ivan Bjelica (SRB) WR 490

Chris upset Eleskovic 6 & 2 in Kaarst last week, so let's hope lightning strikes twice smile.gif

Edit: beaten to it lol

2nd round matches--

Chris Eaton vs Ervin Eleskovic (6) 405.
Joshua Goodall vs Ivan Bjelica 491

Its looking good for Eaton, he beat Eleskovic in the 2nd round of Kaarst last week which will give him the confidence to do it again hopefully, the down side is even though a 7-6(8) 6-2 win looks quite convincing, maybe the tight tiebreak really decided the outcome of the 2nd set and Eleskovics head dropped considerably after Chris sneaked it. Another quarterfinal would show a nice chunk of consistency at the start of 2011 from Chris and with the other seed in his section being replaced he must capitalize here.

After a good win for Josh in the 1st round i think he has a chance against Bjelica who really is a clay court player. He did beat Liam Broady in Turkey in straights near the end of last year.

Tommorow:

Chris is 1st on Centre at 12.00 GMT
Goody 2nd on Court 1
The dubs match is later on, not before 5.30 GMT on Court 1

If anyone could update scores on here for the matches as the scoreboard wont work on my phone, would be appreciated.

Pity, looks as if much has swung on the first set tiebreakers between these two in the last 2 weeks.
