Rich lost TB 7-6 (5) and let out load yell - Hope he is not too angry though - keep cool!
He twice held set point at 5-4 but couldnt convert

Great result for Chris, i had a feeling he might win that one. Seems to have really started the year off well and dare i say it- quite consistently which is great to see. Hopefully this year can see him push near top 300 again as he has very few points to defend now.
If he can follow a good schedule which will mean looking to get on the quickest courts possible, then i see no reason why he cant creep up the rankings again, but it all depends on if his A game can turn more often than before.

Eaton/Slabba beat (4) Mlendea/Raditschnigg 6-3 7-5. Very good day for Chris then and nice for Alex to get some confidence from winning matches, even it is just in dubs at the moment.

I dont know if Eaton/Slabinsky is going to be a regular pairing, but if it is, it shouldn't be long before they're seeded at this level.

With Slabba ranked down at 724, he should be able to move up fairly quickly, esp cosidering thats one win and one semi final already this year!
