Yes, so many Browns - Danielle, Katharina, Lucy, even Mhairi - and the first three seem to kind of attract each other in the singles rankings.

Something must be up with the Broadster, but all credit to Jade who is better than her current ranking.
I said Lisa would win this week, and I'm sticking to that prediction but I wonder whether Joss will be boosted by the Fed Cup news.

An update on the battle for a place in the prestigious Top 25 table

Lucy Brown - 13 from 6 counting events *
Sam Vickers - 11 points from 5 events
Francesca Stephenson - 11 from 6
Amanda Elliott - 11 from 8
Alexandra Walker - 11 from 8 (including 1 point from Glasgow)
Danielle Brown - 10 from 3
Danieka Borthwick - 10 from 4 (inc 4 from Glasgow)
Katarina Brown - 10 from 5
Yasmin Clarke - 10 from 7 (including 1 from Glasgow and 1 from Wrexham)

Sam Murray isn't ranked yet, but has 9 points from 2 events.

* Lucy through to the QF and can score more this week.

BTW, Amy Bowtell (IRL) has earned a world ranking too, securing her third counting event this week. Having read the Helen Parish blog and realising how important this is for players, we should give a shout out to Amy too, so well played that girl.

I think they need to be pointed in the right direction.

Jade won in 3 and faces Lechemia.

The official Lisa-Joss H2H is 0-1 (Frinton 09, grass, 6 & 3 to Anna), but as Lisa was quick to point out, they've also met in British Tour and Wimbledon pre-qualifying and she won both of those.
