Very impressive from Liam who will become the first 1994 inside the top 1000. Wouldn't surprise me if he quits Juniors (except perhaps for Grand Slams his ranking allows him to get into) now

I presume that is the first 1994 boy in the whole wide world. Liam's birthdate is at the very beginning of 1994 ( 04/01 ) but still....
I guess he does have to earn a living
Seriously, as well as Stircrazy's reference to the weight of Brit expectation I really hope he isn't over time adversely effected by the "Broady situation".

get in liam, very encouraging, another win would be huge, to think he's just turned 17(i think) and has performed best out of all brits here and on merit, came through qualifying.
Not been a great start to the year for the men, particularly in GB futures.
As we now stand, Baker, Evans and Goodall are all down to drop out of the top 400 in the rankings on Monday week although Josh was down to compete in a Challenger ( on Reunion Island ! ) next week.
Josh out of Reunion Island so that will be us down to 6 in the top 400, and really Bloomers is only lodging there on a temporary residence which is due to expire in July
I feel your being too harsh on the guys, we had a great start last year then we hit a bit of a lull after the good start, so even though they'll be down in the 400's they'll have opportunities to build upon it and go up in the rankings as they won't have that much to defend.

A mere upward blip, more than matched by the many downward blips. We need whole years of steady improvement, not the odd month of improvement, or British tennis will continue to go round in ever decreasing circles.
I see Basic and K d Schepper are in the semis again.
Evo has taken more games of K d S than anyone else. No consolation but hopefully shows how unlucky his draw was as a seed to draw the most dangerous floater
