Not quite - just the 1st set for Anne, she's an early break down in the 2nd.

A great escape for Bally though from what turned into a very tricky match. Possibly Henin next ... or possibly Mirza who is a set up but a break down in the 2nd.

They got good draws.

But these matches were still against pretty decent players and needed won.  And it is good to see that they seemed to both dig in well when scores turned against them and battled out the wins.

Henin came back to win against Mirza, so that'll be a big match for Bally! Hope she won't be suffering too many after-effects of the niggle today.
