L128: Elena Baltacha WR 55 v (Q) Jamie Hampton (USA) WR 134 (her first AO)
L128: (Q) Anne Keothavong WR 118 v (Q) Arina Rodionova (RUS) WR 185

ITF show a 0-2 H2H for Anne v Arina but in both cases I'm sure the matches were against her sister! Rodionova has been one of the most impressive players in qualifying - she was in Katie's section.

Should Anne get through that one then you have to think she also has a chance against either Craybas or Petkovic in R2

Good draws against players with limited Grand Slam main draw experience. If playing 4 days in a row has an effect at least Anne is in the same situation as Arina.

Anne lost to the other Rodionova at Wimbledon after being 4-0 up final set where Anastasia acted like a complete brat as usual, so will want to get one over the family I'm sure.

Decent chance for progression in the second round as well, and a good draw for Bally.

Anne is currently 100 points of 100th place in the rankings, so a first round win would presumably be enough to take her back in to double figures. Good to read her sounding positive on the BBC website (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/9363175.stm), compared to how despondent she sounded after the US Open.
