Just got back.

Fantastic, Heather! Julia was right, I was worrying too much. Beat a very talented but erratic young player.

Well done to Anne as well.

She's the player who beat Robson and then Murray and Robson in the doubles right? If so then that is a very good win, considering that the French girl was actually consistantly hitting winners against Murray in their doubles match.

I would correct you by saying she had some help from Nicolas Mahut, but on second thought, she pretty much did beat them by herself that day.lolsmile

Well, any nightowls wishing to follow the Brits have quite a wait yet.

Matches appear to have started on time at midday ( 1 am GMT ) and both our girls are 3rd on on their respective courts.

Court 8 :   Heather Watson  WR 149  vs  Lesya Tsurenko ( UKR )  WR 157

Court 14 :   (q2) Anne Keothavong  WR 118  vs  Ioana Raluca Olaru ( ROU )  WR 192


As at 2 am, the initial men's matches stand :  Court 8 is at  6 - 5 on serve and Court 14 is  6 - 3  1 - 0 ( service break ).   Women's matches follow each of these.
