Brits in R2 - only four, but par for the course really given the disappointingly low number of GB players in the main draw in the first place:

L16: (6) Jamie Baker WR 368 v Gleb Sakharov (FRA) WR 574

For such a low-ranked player, the French no. 50 has an annoyingly good record against Brits - he is 7-0 against them, including a win against Josh Goodall last year.

L16: Chris Eaton WR 529 v Juho Paukku (FIN) WR 380

Paukku was 4-0 v Brits in 2010 (Thornley, Wardinator, Rice & Short) and is at his career high.

L16: (5/Q) Dan Evans WR 362 v Alex Slabinsky WR 514

H2H is 2-0 to Evo, both in straight sets.

Turns out Jamie Baker's grandmother actually died this morning, took alot of courage for him to even play today, let alone win. He is dedicating all of his efforts and achievements this week to her.
