RE: Week 2 - USA F1 $10K (Clay) - Plantation, Florida

I thought Odensik was illegible to recieve wildcards ever again on the account of his drugs mis-use, or maybe the itf have different rules to the atp?

My understanding is he has received some leniency for helping people with further enquiries

Boggo not exactly favoured to progress in the doubles in harness with an Ivorian of whom I've never heard (not that that means much!):

R1:  Alex Bogdanovic & Terence Nugent (CIV) WR 1969 vs Teodor-Dacian Gracian & Catalin-Ionut Gard (ROU/ROU) WR 1498

No better luck elsewhere in the draw for Dan S & Alex Ward:

R1:  (4) Stefano Ianni & Benjamin Rogers (ITA/USA) WR 1049 vs Dan Smethurst & Alex Ward WR 1989 cry

Bogdanovic's allegiance could be explained by the fact that it looks like Nugent is England-born...

...and he's even LTA registered (Middlesex)

FQR: Jack Carpenter lost to (2) Dennis Zivkovic (USA) WR 547 by 6-3 7-6(5) cry.gif

Switching to 10 Jan rankings:

L32: Dan Smethurst WR 497 v (4) Nicholas Monroe (USA) WR 347 (CH 280 in 2008)
L32: Alex Ward WR 475 v David Souto (VEN) WR 457
L32: (2) Alex Bogdanovic WR 292 v (Q) Dennis Zivkovic (USA) WR 546

Monroe beat Chris Eaton twice in November and went 1-1 with Jamie B around the turn of the previous year.

The Wardinator lost to Souto in Spain in 2008 in two tight sets 7-6(4) 7-5.

Ollie Golding took a set off Zivkovic in Mexico last November.

i believe boggo has linked up with someone he knows from saddlebrook for the dubs, probably as much in a effort to earn a bit of extra cash than anything else.

R1: Dan Smethurst WR 497 def. Nicholas Monroe (4) WR 348 7-5, 7-6(5) :)

R2: Dan Smethurst WR 497 v. Jeremy Efferding USA (WC) or Christian Harrison USA (Q)

Should hope Dan has enough in him to see off either of those two, Christian is American prodigy Ryan's brother though and he did sail through qualifying without dropping a set

And Dan S & Alex (WR 1989) beat the Italian fourth seeds (WR 1046) by 4 & 5! biggrin

QF:  Dan Smethurst & Alex Ward WR 1989 vs Suk-Young Jeong & Hyun-Joon Kim (KOR/KOR) WR 1912

QF:  Alex Bogdanovic & Terence Nugent (CIV) WR 1969 vs (3) Nicholas Monroe & Phillip Simmonds (USA/USA) WR 939

does anyone have a link to where we can see prize money for futures etc, the challenger draw sheets have it on them but is there a site elsewhere that lists money for the 3 future bands for both singles and doubles?
