Wonder ifs as serious as the ear-ache, dizzy spells and all the other problems she seems to pick-up when she's down in a match and have then resolved themselves for next time.
I love laura, but I can't remember the last time she lost a match and didn't have the trainer on. Instead of getting distracted she'd do well to focus a bit more on the job in hand. Her fighting spirit has been brought into severe question this week, she pretty much gave up in her first two matches, and whilst she fid keep plugging away today, she at not point to me looked like she either thought she could, or even wanted to, win it.
But its an exho, so it doesn't matter. Andy couldn't look less bothered if he tried so I doubt GB will be back. Real test is next week, and I'm sure she will step-up.
Still no doubt when it clicks this girl is absolute magic.
Andy takes it 6-4 6-2; at times Isner looked totally bewitched, bothered and bewildered, though you have to wonder how much Big John was willing to put in considering USA have already qualified for the final and he knows he has to play tomorrow.
I couldn't hear Andy's interview very well as I was watching a livestream with Russian(?) commentary and they talked all the way through it, but I think it was said that they are not playing the mixed doubles.
