Some excellent rallies. Laura moving her italian opponent around well, but little Gianfranco Zola just keeps running!

If Laura had won that set I would have fancied her chances against her 30 year old opponent who is having to run and run, but it wasn't to be Laura 5-7.

schiavone is absolutely sensational for getting on top of the ball considering she is only 5'7 ft and single handed.
it amazed me at the french and still does so. simply superb

Well laura has broken twice serve in this set but unfortunately has lost serve three times. She is hitting hard at the lines, sometimes winning and sometimes losing.
