After those two incredibly long sets, Voracova has just raced through the 3rd set 6-0 in about 20 minutes! Anne should be on very soon then.

Chance for revenge, thats the best draw Heather could have got. Very impressed again with Heather today. When playing well clearly knows how to raise her game to get the job done whatever the standard of opposition. Katie well, inconsistent but still not a bad start to the year.
Anne liked the way she accelerated at the end of the match, augurs well for the forseeable future.

Not bad at all and good chance of at least GB revenge.  Suarez Navarro has been moved to a 9th seed in place of Sevastova, the withdrawn no 5 seed.

Sevastova's withdrawal let Brianti back in as LL to lose to Sharapova by a similar game score to her earlier loss to Heather, but clearly Heather had softened her up  smile

Kuznetsova (3), already through to R2, is the other seed in that quarter.

The better slot in the overall main draw for sure, but the way she was playing yesterday, Lisicki may have been an easier R1 opponent.
