To my mind that's still a decent win for Heather. Hey, I'm not looking yet for her to routinely scalp WR 151s, nice as it would be
Looks as if Brianti certainly can have her off days but if she's near her best form it will probably take a very good performance from Heather to get through.

Interestingly a NZ poster from TF was most impressed by Katie in her first round match and predicted the upset, but I didn't have the confidence to go and predict it. 2011 looks like its going to be a much better year for her. The same poster was less impressed with Heather but I know from experience she has a tendency to look average when the opposition is struggling.

Re Katie. I'd really like to think so Phil. But I'd like to see a bit more evidence than we have so far before before thinking it's going to be a better, let alone a much better year.
Having said that, Katie is optimistic herself on twitter : "Won today in straight sets. Was considerably better than some of the rubbish I produced last year. I'm so over 2010 already!"
Hope she keeps it up and the rubbish dosen't return.
