Clearly Emily loves playing pro tennis, travelling to India the week before Christmas clearly shows that. Playing through one injury after another is further evidence of this.

I must admit I don't get overly excited about following Emily's results because to me it is a hobby for her,because at the age of 27 and with the injuries she has she will never be a top player. She is clearly following her dream to play pro tennis for as long as her body and her finances allow her.

It would be interesting to know whether the prize money gained here covered her costs for the whole trip.
