Her opponent is almost more challenging than the French girl she beat (presumably as I'm on my phone and can't be bothered to check) as at least Kiki was a known quantity I.e. She hits the ball hard.
QF: WEBLEY-SMITH, Emily (GBR) 490 v SHKUDUN, Anna (UKR) 671
15-year-old Shkudun beat no. 4 seed Palkina today, but when they met in the QFs Mandya earlier this month (when coincidentally it was Shkudun who had just beaten Wongteanchai in R2), Emily won 0 & 5.

Emily seems to quite like India, she spent Christmas at a $50K in Delhi the year before last going out in the 2nd round and then played a couple of 10Ks in Delhi earlier this year reaching two finals and winning one.

Looks like the 15-year-old learnt a lot from their last encounter. Still, 14 WTA points is a decent haul from this week and she will rise about 50 places on 3 Jan.

Shame for the week to end like this, but she had a decent run in both singles and dubs, so she shouldn't be too disappointed.
Fingers crossed she can take this form into 2011
Agree to the extent that Emily has got a decent points haul. Not sure though that she has particularly shown any particular form here to get too enthused about.
