Anyone putting money on a player when they won 4 games in a row then taking it off again when they lost 4 games in a row throughout the match would have made a small fortune! LOL

Or the other way round ?    confuse

Yes, the other way round ashamed

I was tempted after yesterday to put some money on Anna and then take a profit after the first few games if she was ahead but never got around to checking the odds. Turns out it would have been the perfect plan too - she took the 1st set 6-2 (very impressive!) before unfortunately losing the next two 1 & 2. cry.gif

Another good week though!

Wow, still to win a 6-2 set against a top 50 player isnt bad at all. Seems she was able to at least match her opponent initially before sadly dropping off.

Excited to see her climb though, she clearly is underranked atm.

Really sorry I couldnt get messages through to the forum this morning. My Blackberry wouldnt allow it.

It was kind of surreal seeing Anna race into a 5-0 lead and then taking the first set 6-2 against WR40. Anna made very few mistakes whilst Goerges made countless errors on the forehand side. Things significantly change when Goerges found her range and the last two sets were fairly one sided.

Still, great week for Anna. Spent over two hours chatting with her, Katie and Naomi by the pool this afternoon and they are three very likeable girls. Wish them all the best in 2011.
